The Premium Contoured Light Back Support Brace is designed to provide intra-abdominal pressure against spinal instability.  

The plastic splints provide extra support to the back, and the rhomboid tension side-pulls flatten the lordosis, i.e. flatten the excessive inward curvature of the spine.
