How does it work?
The Push CMC stabilises the basal joint of the thumb (CMC-1) and places the thumb’s metacarpal (metacarpal 1) in a functional position. This creates a functional thumb arc, which remains stable while the hand is used. It relieves the pain when the thumb is under stress.
This method of stabilisation leaves the MCP-1 joint and the wrist free, to allow maximum functioning of the hand. For optimal performance, the aluminium core needs to fit closely to the thumb.
Wash & Care
To care for your Push Brace, follow these simple steps:
Wash before first use.
Close hook and loop fasteners before washing.
Machine wash up to 40°C in a delicates wash bag.
Gentle spin cycle permitted.
Hang to dry in open air away from direct heat.
Check regularly for signs of wear before use.
